Power Cables

Our power cable conductors are made of high purity oxygen-free copper.  Noise floor and background noise are to be reduced to a minimum by utilizing multiple shielding.  The lower the noise floor, the clearer you can get to the essence of music.  Multiple shielding is used to reject most of the EMI and RFI.  Together with our discrete shield grounding system, our power cable lets audiophiles choose the grounding method of the outer shield-- floating or grounded.  The shield grounding connects the outer shielding to the equipment chassis through the alligator clip (which is also made of copper).  During our extensive listening tests, we concluded that different systems (different components in the system!) behave distinctively when the outer shielding is being floated or grounded.  Experience yourself the significance of using shield grounding in your system!!!

G Clef 2

Triple shielding in G Clef is used to reject 98% of the EMI and RFI.  In order to fully damper the unwanted resonance, proprietary damping material is used to provide a resonance-free environment for the cable and the connector.  For connectivity, Wattgate 15A IEC and Hubbell hospital-grade AC plug are used to provide a tight and solid connection between the AC receptacle, the cable and the equipment.

Power Clef 2

How can we improve the already-fabulous sounding G Clef?  We use three times more materials, including conductors and shielding, for the Power Clef.  Each conductor inside a Power Clef is individually triple-shielded and insulated.  The outmost shielding (the fourth) is being put over to the already triple-shielded conductors for our final defense against EMI and RFI.  With our quadruple and discrete shielding system, the Power Clef is able to provide a 98% coverage against EMI and RFI.  Resonance that can be transmitted from the cable is being dampened at the back of the IEC by our proprietary dampen material.  As the name Power Clef implies, the parameter is centered around the current demanding power amplifier application.  We recommend using Power Clef on a low power vacuum tube amplifier or a high power solid state amplifier.  It can bring out the full potential of the amplifier that you never realized before.

Did you know that the tightness of the jacket materials could change the sound? Our jacket materials are designed to be loose. After numerous experiments, the tightness of the jacket materials does affect the sound significantly. If the jacket materials fitted the cable very tightly, the sound of music would have been very constraint and the "vividness" of music would have disappeared.

On the AC end of our power cables, we use Hubbell hospital-grade AC connector. There is pretty much no argument on the sound quality of the Hubbell. There are two types of hospital-grade connector. One is what we are using right now. The other is a clamshell type connector. Having experienced both connectors on our cables, we found out that the weight of the cable and the connector were closely affecting each other. Therefore, Hubbell 8215 is being used for its superiority to damper the unwanted resonance and achieving better sound.
